BOOKING FAQS
Before You Request Dates
What info should I include in my booking request?
Share your preferred dates, hunt type, number of hunters, experience level, and any mobility or lodging needs. If you have a target species in mind and your budget range, include that too—we’ll recommend the best fit and available windows.
How far in advance should I book a guided hunt?
Earlier is always better—prime dates can fill fast. Many hunters reach out months ahead, but if you’re flexible, we may have openings sooner. Send an inquiry with your date range and we’ll confirm what’s realistic.
Do you require a deposit to hold my dates?
Yes. Once we confirm availability and the hunt details, a deposit secures your dates. We’ll explain the amount, due date, and what it covers before you pay, so everything is clear up front.
What’s included in an SFT Outfitters guided hunt?
Inclusions vary by package, but typically cover guiding, field support, and a clear plan for the hunt. Lodging, meals, and licenses/tags may differ by hunt—ask in your request and we’ll outline exactly what’s included.
What do I need to handle for licenses, tags, and regulations?
You’re responsible for purchasing required licenses/tags and following all local rules, but we’ll point you in the right direction. If you share your residency and target species, we’ll help you understand timelines and what to plan for.
What should I bring—gear, firearms, and clothing?
After you book, we’ll send a practical packing list based on the season and terrain. In general, plan for layered clothing, broken-in boots, and the firearm/bow you’re confident with. If you have questions on calibers or setups, ask—we’ll help you prep.
